I can recommend you taking part in a sociable evening with friends (an international gathering in Vernon, where people will be mainly speaking Spanish, French and English) and a game of cards (the Tarot, for example, if you know how to play it ;-)), probably in Spanish (if you’d like to learn and/or practice this language, which I teach in college). This will take place in the Pub Le Cottage at Vernon.
I live in Vernon (near Giverny and the house of the Impressionists) quiet village, 45 minutes from Paris and I enjoy my garden as soon as I can.
I am "vegan" for a bit more than 2 years now (which brought me many benefits in terms of fitness, energy and health) ; I enjoy creating all kinds of sauces to accompany my raw or cooked vegetables. The latest, crushed garlic, peanut puree and sea water (Quinton serum for the curious) ....
If you like nature, I propose to guide you during a walk of 2 to 4H (depending on your available time), through unfrequented hiking trails of the Vernon campaign, as the Bird Hill, either in woodland or near the forest, with very nice views of Vernon and Saint-Marcel, the discovery of an arm of the Seine river where you can see moorhens, ducks, coots, swans and possibly Florida turtles by sunny weather ...
