Shang Palace, one of three noteworthy restaurants at the new, ultra-luxury Shangri-La Hotel provides the art of Cantonese fine dinning.
It was opened on 8th September 2011. As Europe's first Shang Palace restaurant opened in Paris, it has been awarded with 1 star in the Michelin Guide 2012.
From the crispy suckling pig to the lion’s head soup to the steamed crab claw in Hua Diao rice wine, the 60-odd items on offer are as faithfully rendered as they would be in a top-tier Hong Kong kitchen.
The restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine originally inspired by South East China's culinary traditions. A main room and three private dining rooms named for the Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties are available.
